We had the best time at Emissary!!! Fantastic food and great service!! Julio was so kind and gave the best recommendations. Amazing special of the day - pumpkin gnocchi. Great atmosphere and great service. Good happy hour deals. Highly recommend!!

My to-go drink is a Mocha, although not in the menu they made me one and it was absolutely delicious! I can’t speak for all the food, but the croissant was also great. It tasted fresh and with the right amount of crunch. Judging by the food traffic, it seems like a popular place, I am glad I arrived before the morning crowds. I saw many pick it up and go. There is seating but only so much, but still, it's a great stop for a morning coffee.

A neighborhood gem! Emissary is one of those rare spots that you can come by for brunch/lunch/dinner or for coffee/pastry/dessert. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is excellent and thoughtfully prepared. I love coming here to get work done, or to grab a quick bite after the gym, or drinks with a few friends at their speakeasy bar. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are always so accommodating even when very busy. Ooh!!! You gotta try their homemade bread. It’s AMAZING!

It was my first time here and the experience was superb. Julio was super attentive to every need. The coffee was delicious and the coffee cream was WARM, simply perfect. I had the “Desayuno Cafetero” which come with a delicious Colombian arepa.Will definitely return.

The MUSIC was bumpin''''' !!! LOL!!! My Iced Vanilla Latte was smooth & delicious!!! High energy & delicious looking food was pumpin from the kitchen!!! Pastries looked great too!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Another amazing place to eat in DuPont Circle. Worth a trip into D.C. for a great breakfast or brunch. We happened upon this while between visits to the Museum on O and the National Cathedral. A perfect meal in a friendly environment.
